I don’t know if prayer “works”. Mainly because I don’t know what it means for a prayer to be “effective”. But I know there are moments when I feel God nudging me to say something, to be somewhere, to be silent… But that requires me to slow down and be still for a moment (several moments really) and have a conversation with him. A prayer. So today I will take several moments to pray, to listen, to watch and to be thankful.
