I sat in simple wonder this morning. Not trying to solve a problem, make a to do list, or build my schedule for the day. I took a moment to sit, and see and listen. To feel a slight breeze in my hair and the warming sun on my face. To smell the faint hint of lilac. To study a spider web and listen to the birds and the bugs who I would like to assume are singing to God. I don’t know what today holds… who what where when why or how…
But I know the sun rose this morning. I woke up with air in my lungs and a beating heart. That means I matter to someone today. That means you matter to someone today.
Be someone else’s sunrise. Help them see the possibility in today.
