leave joy

leave joyWhen wet grass is mowed, the lines are so obvious, marking where you’ve been, where you turned, stopped… went back. Honestly you made quite the mess of ruts and mud and its obvious.

You have an entire day ahead of you and I have an entire day ahead of me. We can both choose not only what paths we follow, but what we leave behind. We are likely going to encounter a lot of different people in a lot of different situations both online and face to face. Do we leave people better than we found them? Or like the mower did we leave scars and ruts and mud?

Choose to give regardless of what you get in return. Choose to be kind regardless of their attitude. Choose understanding over criticism. Choose to be thankful that person was placed in your path. Choose to be thankful for what you have, instead of bitter for what you don’t. And choose to share that thankfulness by leaving a path of joy so infectious, everyone wants to pay it forward.

thoughts go here... be nice... be thankful...
