Ever since I learned how to write, I’ve been writing poetry. At home, at the lake, when I traveled for work or for fun… when I would people watch at the mall or airport… when I was alone on my porch, when my emotions had to spill out onto a page.

My style evolved from typical rhymes to something closer to journaling or a stream of consciousness. My middle name is also Lynn. So all credit for the nickname journalynn goes to my college poetry professor who gave me the balance I needed from my business major and internship. Who introduced me to new styles and challenged me. And who also let me be me, and journal.
